Staying Safe During Williams Bay Water Advisory

The Village of Williams Bay announced on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, that there was a “Do Not Drink” order to the Williams Bay Water System. Read the notice here.

Due to this order, PIER 290 closed on Thursday, August 28 to make preparations and order supplies to continue operations into Labor Day weekend.

HOW PIER 290 IS STAYING SAFE DURING THE WATER ADVISORY

The safety and well-being of our guests, team, and neighbors will always come first. That is why, after consulting with the Walworth County Health Department, Mayor, and Public Works Department, we’re following the below precautions to stay safe and have a fun Labor Day Weekend.

We will be open Labor Day Weekend to continue to serve the Lake Life with lakeside dining for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch along with signature cocktails and live music!

  • We are serving bottled water for all guests.
  • We are using alternatively sourced water for cooking and food prep.
  • Our signature cocktails are being crafted with canned and bottled beverages.
  • Our ice is fresh and is made from alternatively sourced water.

While the Village of Williams Bay continues to navigate this water alert, we encourage you to also show up for our fellow local businesses this holiday weekend.

With gratitude for this community, we look forward to celebrating the weekend alongside all of you. CHEERS
